On 6 July 2025, CARICOM IMPACS proudly marked 19 years of operational excellence in advancing regional security across the Caribbean. Since our establishment in 2006, we have remained unwavering in our mission to strengthen regional cooperation, enhance border security, and combat transnational crime.

This significant milestone reflects not only the institutional growth of CARICOM IMPACS, but also the dedication, professionalism, and resilience of our team across all departments—from intelligence and operations to finance, administration, and support services. Each contribution has been instrumental in helping us fulfill our mandate and protect the citizens of our Region.

In his anniversary message, Executive Director Lt. Col. Michael Jones shared:

“This milestone is a testament to the unwavering commitment, hard work and professionalism that defines our organisation… As we celebrate 19, we are also starting the countdown to 20, a significant moment in time that highlights our remarkable journey and augurs an exciting future ahead. On the road to 20 years, we carry forward the same commitment and unity that have defined our past, and we embrace the opportunities ahead with confidence and vision.”

As we reflect on nearly two decades of impactful work, we also look ahead with renewed purpose. The regional security landscape continues to evolve, and CARICOM IMPACS stands ready to respond with innovation, strategic partnerships, and steadfast resolve.
